Description of Project:
This Project is a 259,000 SF new building supported by drilled piers and grade beams. The structure is steel and structural block with a brick veneer. The building consists of approximately 376 rooms ranging from classrooms to a theater and gymnasiums. The school's HVAC system is forced air with hydronic heating and cooling. The building sits on a 50 acre site that contains track and field facilities as well as football, soccer, baseball, and softball fields. The new high school will have exposed mechanical and electrical systems in various areas such as the gymnasiums, the theater and the commons area and contains epoxy resin flooring in many restrooms and in the kitchen and dining areas.
