JHL Has Been Awarded Dillon Amphitheater Improvements
JHL has been awarded the Dillon Amphitheater Improvements project for the Town of Dillon! The project includes the demolition of portions of the existing amphitheater, stage, and support buildings, and the construction of new seating, stage, upper plaza, restroom building, ticket office, and concessions building. Construction will begin in July with a Spring 2018 completion.
JHL Has Been Awarded APS's Mrachek Middle School Replacement
JHL has been awarded Aurora Public School's Mrachek Middle School Replacement project. The 120,000 square foot school will replace the existing 1970's open concept plan. The new school will serve 1,000 students.
JHL Has Been Awarded Mapleton Public Schools' Adventure ES
JHL has been awarded Mapleton Public Schools' new 60,000 square foot Adventure Elementary School! The $20 million project is scheduled to break ground next year.

JHL Has Been Awarded Three New Projects!
JHL was recently awarded UCD's 1800 Grant Street Renovation, Edison School District Campus Renovation/Addition, and the new South Adams County Fire District Headquarters Building.
1800 Grant Street includes a 60,000 square foot, occupied/phased renovation of the 1st, 4th, 6th, and 7th floors. Construction is scheduled to start in December and be completed in June 2016.
Edison School District Campus includes a renovation of the existing 1922 Jr/Sr school building and an addition with a gymnasium, classrooms, computer labs, and vocational/agricultural spaces. The project is funded by the CDE's BEST Grant program and will be complete in 2017.
The South Adams County Fire District Headquarters Building includes a new 13,500 square foot building with administrative offices, private meeting spaces, a public board and community room, and a lobby with exhibit space to showcase historical artifacts from the District. The site will include a fire fighter memorial. Construction is scheduled to start January 2016 and be completed in August 2016.

The Denver Business Journal has announced the 2015 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the Denver Metro area and JHL Constructors is thrilled to be named the 5th Fastest Growing Privately Held Company! We have never targeted to be a leader in this category, but given our growth over the past three years, we find ourselves in the top 5! We are most proud of this award because we can combine it with another DBJ award for 2015; #1 Best Place To Work (Medium Sized Company) in Denver. JHL was the only construction company in any category to receive top honors. It is quite rare that you see growth of this magnitude and have the high level of employee engagement that JHL has had to achieve both awards within the same year. JHL Breaks Ground on Red Rocks Community College Health Science Campus Expansion Project
JHL has broken ground on the Red Rocks Community College Health Sciences Campus expansion project! The expansion will include a new 50,000 square foot classroom building. This innovative teaching and learning space will help train health care professionals to work effectively in health care teams. To complement the expanded enrollment of the Health Sciences Campus, the existing building will be undergoing extensive renovations that will give students full access to Red Rocks’ student success services. Construction will be complete for the Fall 2016 semester.

JHL has broken ground on the new Stargate School Campus! The project, located near I-25 and 144th in Thornton, will include 159,000 square feet in two academic buildings, a field house, and amphitheater.

NLCS offers young parents a rigorous, relevant, and engaging education so they are empowered with the skills needed to raise healthy children and graduate prepared for success in college and careers. JHL Raises Over $200,000 for Advocates for Children
JHL is proud to announce the huge success of our 5th Annual Kids Classic Golf Tournament! With the help of Title Sponsor Moody Insurance, the tournament raised over $200,000. The tournament benefited Advocates for Children, the CASA agency (Court Appointed Special Advocate Agency) that serves Colorado’s 18th Judicial District. CASAs are trained volunteers who advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children in our community. Thank you to all of our sponsors and participants in the tournament!
JHL is Awarded the New Aurora Public Schools P-8 School
JHL was recently awarded the new $22 million APS P-8 school on the Community Campus located near 6th Avenue and Airport Boulevard. When complete, the school will serve over 900 students. Construction is scheduled to start this summer with a completion date of August 2015.
JHL Breaks Ground on DRM Administration & Education Building
JHL and Eidos Architects just broke ground on the new Denver Rescue Mission Administration & Education Building. This new four-story, 36,000 square foot facility will allow the DRM to operate more efficiently and serve more people. The first floor will include an intake center along with office, conference, and classroom space. The 2nd-4th floors will include flex-rooms to accommodate volunteers, offices, conference rooms, a break room, and an outdoor patio for volunteers and staff. Construction is scheduled to be complete in early 2015.
JHL is Awarded the Kim School District BEST Project
JHL received great news that we have been selected as the CM/GC for the Kim School District PK-12 Addition & Renovation project! This $8 million project is being made possible by the CDE's BEST grant program and the Kim community. The project includes a 25,000 square foot gym/cafeteria/elementary addition and a historic renovation of approximately 10,000 square feet. The project will be LEED Gold. We are excited to get started and to be a part of the Kim, Colorado community.
