This addition and renovation project tied three existing buildings on the church campus together to form one large structure. The 9,500 square foot addition included an 8,000 square foot multi-purpose parish hall with a cafeteria for the parochial school, weddings, church functions and fellowship, and rented out for third party social gatherings. The addition also included a new commercial kitchen, restrooms, youth center, and a science classroom/lab. The 12,000 square foot renovation included completely gutting the old convent and modifying it to house the church’s new offices, adult education classrooms, and new preschool. The fire alarm system was replaced throughout the campus and sprinklers were added to the lower level to meet fire codes. Site work included a new playground for the preschool and additional site lighting to improve visibility and security. Three new entrances were created including a new bus loop for student pickup and drop-off and outdoor gathering areas where parishioners can gather after events to enjoy the newly landscaped grounds.
