Woodland Elementary School

This project is located in the southeast corner of the Cherry Creek School District and serves 650 students. The two-story L-shaped building is designed to provide several direct connections to outdoor spaces on both floors. The building embodies a modern aesthetic and offers clean lines and strong forms integrated across the 82,000 SF. Inside, there are multiple direct connections to the outdoors ensuring bright learning opportunities in cluster  classrooms, a maker-space, art room, library, a gym-a-torium that blends a performance stage  and competitive-sized basketball court. The building also incorporates health and wellness considerations put in place by COVID safety protocols such as wider hallways, hand-washing stations, and optimized air circulation.
