What Our Clients Say

When I think of JHL, the first things that come to mind are attention to detail and unwavering dependability. This is the type of team you can tell something to and forget about it because you know it’s going to get done, no questions asked. It’s very hard for me to put all that JHL does into words, the best way I can sum it up is: They make the job look easy when we all know it’s not. They always power through the challenges we throw at them with ease.

Michael Bjes, Hines

We consider JHL a valuable partner that simply goes about their business in the right manner. We trust them not only in the preconstruction services they provide, but in the reliability of their field operations and the quality product and experience they produce. They do what they say they’re going to do, tackle challenges head-on and remain solutions oriented in tough situations.

Rob Price, Boulder Valley School District

I am extremely appreciative of JHL’s PROFESSIONAL approach and DEDICATION to delivering a QUALITY project. We have been so pleased with the level of service provided. The entire JHL team, from top to bottom, worked tirelessly to ensure Golden Pond and each unit was delivered on time and within budget, all while maintaining a positive attitude and approaching everything as a TEAM.

Pat Mershon, Golden Pond Sr. Living

We have been very fortunate to have a long term partnership with JHL dating back nearly 25 years. I can say that JHL really is the ‘A-Team’ when it comes to building educational facilities. The work they have done for the Colorado school market truly is unbelievable. From JHL’s founder, John Hachmeister, to the company I know today I can certainly recommend JHL Constructors as an excellent contractor and a great partner.

Rich Cosgrove, Douglas County School District

JHL worked great within our limited budget and parents highly concerned with construction activities. As a director of a very busy school, I was concerned with the extra work of managing a construction project, however, with the partnership with JHL, I had fun during the project and we actually miss JHL working at our school! JHL was fun, supportive, flexible with our needs, and exceptionally professional.

Nancy James, Montessori Academy of Colorado

When JHL was brought to the team, they immediately immersed themselves in the project, attended every team meeting with multiple team members, and had a solutions oriented approach. JHL does an excellent job in maintaining the budget in an organized fashion and are incredibly responsive with any request we make. JHL’s open book approach certainly has fostered a strong relationship of trust over the years.

Dave Schunk, The Denver Rescue Mission

JHL collaborated with us and supported our school and vision during the entire process. They engaged with our stakeholders and tried creative and outside the box approaches to afford our school the best final product imaginable. JHL is definitely about quality and character. They built a trusting relationship with our school and our expansion team.

Josh Cochran, Former Principal Stargate School

The first time I met John Hacmeister was shortly after JHL had been the successful bidder on one of our middle schools over 20 years ago. I distinctly recall him stating that his desire was to become the best school contractor in the state of Colorado. I remember thinking that this was a very ambitious goal, but to his credit, I believe JHL has achieved that goal.
