March 2022 – Groundbreaking, Julesburg
Julesburg, CO – Officials from the Town of Julesburg and Sedgwick County joined students, school faculty and staff, as well as representatives from JHL, Hord Coplan Macht (HCM), and Artaic Group to celebrate the official groundbreaking of the new, 80,000 SF PK-8 replacement school.
Many members from this tight-knit community showed support and excitement for this historical town event. As a nod to the community’s history, School Superintendent, Shawn Ehnes brought a 100+ year old shovel representing each graduating class with a ribbon and a name of each alumna.
Julesburg PK-8 replacement school is slated for completion by the Summer of 2023.
