October 2021 – Groundbreaking, 27J Elementary School #14

Commerce City, CO – JHL was honored to help celebrate the groundbreaking of 27J Elementary School #14 with representatives from School District 27J, Anser Advisory, Hord Coplan Macht (HCM), and members of the future school staff and community.

When complete, this 39,500 SF single-story prototype school will include classrooms, gathering spaces, special purpose areas, art and music rooms, and a gymnasium. Additionally, the new facility will have multiple playgrounds and a synthetic turf field.

The school was a result of savings from projects made possible by the 2015 community-approved bond issue. 27J prides itself on being good stewards of the community’s investment and is pleased to make this portion of ES #14 an additional project beyond what was promised and budgeted for in the 2015 bond.
