27J Schools Holds the Keys to Talon Ridge Middle School

Thornton, CO – JHL Constructors proudly celebrated the key turnover ceremony for the new Talon Ridge Middle School on Thursday, May 6, 2026. The event brought together representatives from 27J Schools, KOP Management, HED, project partners, and community members to commemorate the completion of the new 139,000-square-foot middle school.

The new facility will serve more than 800 students in grades six through eight and was designed to support both current and future educational needs. The school features state-of-the-art technology, administrative offices, two gymnasiums, a cafeteria, media center, turf athletic fields, and flexible learning environments designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and long-term growth.

“Talon Ridge Middle School represents an incredible investment in the future of the 27J community,” said Karley Phillips, Owner of KOP Management. “From early planning through project completion, the focus of the entire team was delivering a high-quality learning environment that supports students, families, and the broader community.
