December 2022 – Topping Out, Parker Water & Sanitation District Headquarters
Parker, CO – Representatives from Parker Water & Sanitation District (PWSD), Perkins & Will, and JHL Constructors (JHL) gathered to celebrate the topping out of the new PWSD Headquarters in Parker, Colorado.
“Our team of owners, architects, subcontractors and JHL staff have done an incredible job throughout the project planning and executing to allow us to top out the PWSD Headquarters project on time,” said JHL Senior Project Manager, Kris Kreymborg. “The entire team should be proud of their efforts to date and the hard work that has been put in to get the project to this critical milestone!”
This 139,000 SF two-story building designed by Perkins & Will, is a great addition to the Town of Parker’s landscape. The unique exterior will feature two curved levels inspired by a drop of water’s concentric rings of outward momentum. The headquarters will house administrative, engineering, and maintenance professionals and provide services for the residents of Parker and surrounding areas, and is scheduled for completion in late 2023.
During celebratory remarks, JHL Superintendent, Josh Hieb stated, “I cannot express enough gratitude to this construction project team and our client, Parker Water & Sanitation District. The work that all of you have put in to reach this significant milestone, while doing it safely each day, is truly amazing. Being part of a project such as this is something each of us can say we are excited about and proud of. This is one we’ll reflect on and be able to tell our family and friends about for decades to come.”
